Refund/Cancellation Policy for Classes and Events

If I have to cancel all or part of a class:

You will receive a full refund if I need to cancel a class or event entirely, and a prorated refund if I have to cancel a portion of a class or am unable to teach that class meeting due to a problem on my end.

If you cancel or do not attend:

For Second Sunday Live Demos:

There are no refunds for Second Sunday Live Demos, except as noted below.

Exception: If you are successful joining a Zoom test meeting ahead of time, but unable to get Zoom to work (can’t see, can’t hear, can’t get online due to a power or internet outage, etc.) during the event, I will provide a refund, PROVIDED you contact me within 24 hours of the event. Please include a description what happened (e.g. “I couldn’t hear, even though my speakers worked when I was in the waiting room”). Include as much information as you can about what type of device or computer you were using and what operating system (e.g. “Windows 10 on a Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga” or “Samsung Galaxy X10 with the current Android OS”).

For Classes & Workshops:

For cancellations up to 2 weeks prior to the start of class—

I will refund your course fee, minus a $10 admin charge.

From 2 weeks to 1 week prior to the start of class—

I will refund of 80% of the course fee. Except, IF I am able to fill your spot from the waitlist, I will refund the full course fee, minus a $10 admin charge. Don’t count on this! Within a few weeks of the course start, people have often made other plans.

Within 1 week of the start of class, no refunds.
