Postcard Paint- (and Plan-)Along: Coast Sunflowers

Tips for planning a manageable painting/postcard and coping with a complex subject when sketching on location. We’ll use some of the tips from the last video on Avoiding Pencil Lines in Your Watercolors.

  • QoR quinacridone gold
  • QoR quinacridone deep gold
  • M. Graham ultramarine blue

Brushes: Pentel Aquash water brush (medium), Princeton SNAP golden taklon round size 12, Yarka squirrel quill (size unknown, may no longer be available), a substitute at a reasonable price is the Princeton Neptune quill size 6
