Individual lessons are tailored to the needs, interests and experience level of the student or client.
Lessons are available in:
-beginning or intermediate painting in watercolor or acrylic
-beginning drawing
-basic camera and computer skills
-fundamentals of design and composition
-creativity coaching (any creative medium)
I offer individual and small-group lessons and coaching in my home studio in Hudson, WI. Lessons are available at a wide variety of times, including most days of the week, evenings, and weekends. Plus, there is now the option of doing your lesson in YOUR home or studio, or another location of your choice. (A travel fee may apply if we’re not meeting in or near Hudson.)
Maybe a two- or three-hour lesson once a month suits you better. Maybe an hour-long lesson one week and an online coaching session the following week. Maybe an hour a month in person and critique using phone and/or email in between lessons. If you have a cable or DSL internet connection, we can even do ONLINE lessons! I’ll walk you through setting up Skype (which is free) so that we can do your lesson by video conference and/or online chat. If you already use another video conferencing or chat service, I’ll be happy to work with that application, as long as it’s available for my computer (most will be).
Private lessons are $50/hr, and most people find that 2-4 hours per month is a good amount. (If you commit to at least 2 hours per month for at least 6 months in the upcoming 12, the rate drops to $45 per hour.)
