For those taking lessons on a regular basis, I also offer the option of custom instruction involving travel.

If you have a second home in some lovely location, or are planning a painting trip, and want a personal painting coach/companion, I am available for a few trips per year to provide custom instruction involving travel.  You get me there and back, and feed and house me while I’m with you, and I’ll provide individualized coaching in travel sketching, seeing with the eyes of an artist to enhance your travel experience, taking great reference photos, and plein air painting, all tailored to your interests.  $100 per day covers 6 hours of personalized instruction and coaching per day.

Or, if you want to coordinate a painting trip with friends, and bring along your pet painting teacher, again, you cover my expenses, and I’ll be happy to go along and coach.   $100 per day covers up to 4 students for for up to 6 hours of coaching per day ($25 per day for each additional student, with a maximum of 8).

(And yes, it could be as simple as a road trip, camping along the way, eating mac and cheese, as long it’s to a good location for painting. It doesn’t have to be 5-star accommodations—I’m willing to consider a variety of types of trips, as long as it involves a great place to gather reference material, and great companionship.  If you have an idea, let’s discuss it!)
